As I mentioned in a public post a few days ago, first off, the number of people using Hubzilla seems very, very low, and it’s not getting larger as far as I can tell. In the first page of friend suggestions, the only interesting person I thought of following hasn’t posted in
two years.But more troubling to me, and what’s really giving me pause, is that it has been frighteningly easy to find proud, loud #
racists. People who are so vile that they use domain names that proudly proclaim their racism and literal #
fascism.
Worst of all, #
Hubzilla has no straightforward way for me to block these people and to defederate from domains that are unbelievably vile.
On Mastodon, a server instance got defederated because their dev team hired a former cop. Here, literal Nazis get to post in @
Hubzilla Support Forum .
