colors are wrong

Everything deep red is really bright blue, and the decks are pale blue.

OOOOH, AHHHH

That really sets the stage for imagining the Celestial River Cruise on the "blue line".
That picture seems to have come from a non-Gloranthan source, but looks useful.
Thanks for posting it. I can visualize the quarters below deck & picture the heroes.

Caligula's Summer boat

This was Emperor Caligula's Lake Nemi summer home's yacht as reconstructed by an artist in a 1906 Scientific American. Also, he had three of these!

While the scale of the Sky Ship is larger, the look is right.

Two Rows of Rowers

Both sides being equal, I'm estimating 228 oars.

no need to count

The Sky Ship is bigger than this.

Right

Got that. But to get a handle on the number of oars for the larger ship, I counted the starboard oars on Caligula's little boat and multiplied by 2.

More Big

The Sky Ship is larger than that.

Right.

As I said. I got that because knowing what Caligula had for oars helps me picture a boat that's "more big"
I can imagine a boat that's twice as big. I can imagine one that's 5xs bigger with 10,000 people on board.
